ROTAX V-TWIN ENGINE

NEW EXTENDED WHEELBASE AND PASSENGER SEAT
Like everything else on the Outlander 6x6, the MAX seat is engineered for a reason, with ergonomic multiposition handgrips and raised floorboards to ensure more comfort on long rides—or flip the passenger seat down in seconds and gain even more cargo capacity.
FULLY REVISED FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION
The most significant Outlander upgrade yet, it's all about taking the ride even farther. Starting with front arched A-arms, sway bar, and up to 9.2 in. of ground clearance for a wider stance, more confident handling, and better capability. Independent rear suspension eliminates scrub and camber changes for unparalleled vertical wheel control—rather than a flexive butterfly motion.
CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (CVT)
The Outlander’s Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) means that no shifting is required. It’s calibrated to always deliver optimal torque output in all uses and conditions. You can also count on engine braking to automatically reduce your speed when going downhill. The extra low L-gear makes it easier to maneuver the ATV in demanding conditions—for example, when pulling your trailer or in deep mud.
TRI-MODE DYNAMIC POWER STEERING (DPS)
Feel off-road terrain like never before with Tri-Mode Dynamic Power Steering (DPS), which gives easy steering assistance and adapts its response to the vehicle's speed. At lower speeds, assistance is increased to reduce your steering effort, while at higher speeds it's reduced to return maximum feel to the rider. Choose between three modes to match your preferences.
VISCO-LOK QE QUTO LOCKING FRONT DIFFERENTIAL
Visco-Lok† QE has all the features and benefits of the standard quick-engagement Visco-Lok† differential, but with an even quicker engagement point for heavy work use. This differential, unlike some competitors' differentials, does not have a speed limiter.
STANDARD SPLIT-LEVEL HEAVY DUTY CARGO BOX
Our unique cargo box features two storage levels, 700 lb (318 kg) of total hauling capacity, and tilt-assist dumping. Its standard side panels enable you to create a flatbed in seconds. Add accessories such as a cargo cover, log bars, tailgate extension and more.
