Case IH Magnum™ Series tractors combine advanced technology with customer input to give you unmatched productivity in row crop operations.

Engine

As acreage and implement sizes increase, productive power drives the decision to invest in a new tractor. Magnum™ tractors go to the field with three proven six-cylinder engines: High-pressure, common rail electronic fuel injection systems, Four valves per cylinder for improved fuel economy and power, Turbo-charged and air-to-air intercooled, Tier III certified, Approved for use with 100% biodiesel (B100) when proper Case IH maintenance programs are followed
Six-cylinder, 6.75-L (411-CID) Case IH engine powers the mid-range Magnum 180, 190 and Magnum 210.

Transmission

Each Magnum™ tractor features a proven 18-speed full Powershift transmission with electronically controlled Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) solenoid valves providing shuttle shift control and smooth shift quality.
Optional 19th gear is available in two configurations for transport fuel savings
Optional 23-speed with shift-through creeper
AutoShift™ standard on Magnum 180, 190, and 210 models

Hydraulics/Hitch/PTO

Magnum™ tractors feature a redesigned, high-powered hydraulic system, based on a single pressure and flow compensating (PFC) pump for high-capacity, quick response time and the flexibility to simultaneously perform several functions.

Magnum hitch geometry ensures well-balanced and stable operation.

Hydraulically activated, electronically controlled PTO system provides smooth modulation and component protection.

Cab/Controls

The Case IH Surveyor™ cab on Magnum™ tractors is the result of customer input from around the world.
Ultimate operator environment with panoramic curved glass; comfortable, positive response seat; and ergonomic armrest controls
Rated at 68.3 dBA, quieter than previous designs even with added horsepower
Four in. (101 mm) of added cab height improves visibility and serviceability and allows for greater fuel capacity

Service

Case IH makes maintaining Magnum™ tractors as simple as possible. All daily servicing is performed from ground level. While filling the fuel tank it’s simple to check:
Engine coolant
Engine oil
Hydraulic oil levels

On-board diagnostics and error codes are accessible through the standard instrumentation for speedy troubleshooting. Full system diagnostics can be performed by a Case IH dealer’s service technician on site with a laptop computer.
